2005-09-16 Dell P4

A newish but low end Dell Pentium 4 PC. Specs: 1.7Ghz, 256M Ram, 40G HD, CDRW. It was rather dusty inside but worked fine and booted. Pic shows it open for ministrations from the shopvac and inspection. Note the special medical style wrapping I got on some VGA cables recently, I think they do that so I do not catch a virus from any machine I plug them into. Glad I have that!

Reason for discard seems to be marriage, i.e. the two parties involved pooled their computer infrastructure into one machine when moving in together. I think that other machine is a Mac based on the google searches I saw in the cache.

Other things:

• Primary user mostly used yahoo search, numerous queries seemed to be related to finding a job. If I get too detailed I will compromise her privacy quickly as she is quite specialized.
• A mere 175 mp3s, mostly classical and Tito Fuentes, am listening to them now
• Kazaa, from whence most of the aforementioned music presumably came.
• A bunch of word docs related to career, business, wedding etc.
• Lots of normal surfing stuff in the cache dirs, no porn though.
• Some surfing assistant style spyware
• A rare copy of The Cheeky Song by The Cheeky Girls. This is interesting because I had previously thought this music was so awful that very few copies existed in the wild on the western side of the Atlantic. It is still awful, but maybe less rare than I thought. End times are near.

This HD is notable in terms of it's lack of porn and some other things. No trace of digital camera use even.
