2006-12-15 E-Machine

EMachines Athlon 1400, missing memory, 40G HD, somewhat dusty inside. Machine works fine with some borrowed memory. Lots of delicious things on the HD:

• 5 users with associated cache directories. Lots of cache hits indicating gaming and sports etc. No, or very little porn. 3 or so users may be juveniles.
• 500 or so iTunes including the following:

  Lovely. Listening to them now as I write up this page.
• Some 86 downloaded mp3s also, seemingly acquired using Limewire. Shortly before discard somebody had tossed all this stuff in the RECYCLER, and left it there. Including the following variations of some mildy famous chap:

• Also mp3 versions of some of the iTunes user ripped stuff was there also. This indicates I guess that they ripped a bunch of stuff to mp3 then started with iTunes and reripped. All very confusing.
• A few word docs, work and school and such.
• Some evidence of ebanking including scans of cheques etc, including one big one to the IRS.
• Some pics taken with a Canon PowerShot A40.

Pic is one of a series found on the HD that were taken at a wedding. Amidst all the happy people attending there was apparently somebody who felt the need to bring a sickbag from delta airlines in their pocket. That says something about family occasions I guess.
